As someone visiting from the Bay Area, I didn’t expect to find such a charming little banh mi shop out here—but I’m so glad I did. Tucked away in the suburbs of Chicago, this place has a warm, cozy vibe with fun decor (plushies, colorful signs, and a playful atmosphere that makes it feel instantly welcoming). The banh mi sandwiches are fresh and flavorful, and the prices are super reasonable—especially compared to what I’m used to back home! Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or just want a chill spot to relax, this place hits the spot.

2025.02.20 Update: New expanded menu is tasty and satisfying! Chicken, pork, or shrimp rice plates! And I saw the owner hand making the dumplings for their new won ton soup! Ohhh for the Egg with the rice plates, it’s cooked PERFECT every time! Fried on the outside but the yolk is jelly-ish without being too runny!! —— original post below—— Super cute restaurant and awesome friendly owners. :-). Great food and atmosphere. More details below. What caught me first was the look and design of the restaurant. You can tell they put a lot into designing everything and it creates a positive vibe that leaves you entering and exiting feeling lighter and happier. Got the Combo Banh Mi that has the pate, and the Lychee drink. The Banh Mi bread was crunchy and soft how I like it and with everything in there it has a lot of great flavor that makes you want to take another bite. The lychee drink had actual lychee in it and it wasn’t too sweet. It was just enough to know you’re enjoying but also refreshing. Recommend to try!

Sit tight it’s a long one: If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This cute little Bubble tea place really made me so happy. My family and I were looking for a late night sweet treat (past 10:00pm) and we found this place on google and love bubble tea so had to try it. First and foremost, the fact that they are open late is awesome not many places like this hold late hours, and it’s a bummer. We don’t do the bar scene and normally places like this, close in the early evenings. Secondly, the atmosphere inside is so cute. It’s such a vibe with neon lights, cute little arcade game tables, and separate booths along the wall for you to sit and chat in private with your group. They also have a stack of games to play at your table when you dine in. The place looks and feels like pure joy and happiness. I’m assuming the two people behind the counter were the owners...? Maybe? There was things around the place that made me draw this conclusion. Either way they were both VERY friendly and so sweet. You could actually feel the “happy” from them. Which points me to the fact that they are both very proud of this establishment. And they are happy to be there. Even while being so busy, so late at night and it being just the two of them. I absolutely LOVEEEE that the tapioca is FRESH. All three of us got teas and they were delectable. chefs kiss I also tried the Ube Waffle and that, too, was freaking delishhhhh. So like I said everything about this place is a 10/10 great hang out for the younger generation and a nice little spot for families to get a sweet lil’ treat, and also their prices are really a plus as well.

Food/Boba is exceptional. I have tried all of the Banh Mi options and grilled pork was my favorite. My husband loves the crispy chicken. The flavors were great. Nothing compares in my opinion in the area to the unique food options they provide along with the great Boba tea selection. The smoothies/ teas have endless combination options and customized just the way you want. The service is always friendly and we never have a long wait. This is also a kid friendly spot with a couple arcade and board games. The kids love the waffles and smoothies as well. Also this is a great late night spot, as their hours are longer on the weekends where other places close earlier. The atmosphere is a chill vibe and music matches the mood for sure. All around great Vietnamese quick bite/drink options for any time of day. This place is easily our #1 food/boba spot around. Just go to Mo Tea, you won't be disappointed.

Cutest bubble tea restaurant. They have fun music, arcade & board games to encourage you to stay and eat with family & friends. I ordered the grilled pork rice bowl. Very tasty! I've never had bubble tea that gives tapioca pearls as optional. Love this place

Never knew this place existed until I searched for boba in my area. I tried their bahn mi and also ordered a fruit tea. It was so good that I ordered two more to take for my siblings! Highly recommend checking it out if you love authentic cuisine and supporting small businesses. Super clean dining area, amazing hospitality, and super tasty food (it looked so good and fresh that I couldn’t wait to eat so I dug in before taking a picture). All the ingredients were super fresh and crispy, and the bread was the perfect level of toasted. Definitely recommend checking it out and will absolutely be coming back for more.

Very nice atmosphere! Food is very authentic, appetizers are very tasty! Also, lots of board games while waiting for food, and each table has its own theme room. The owner is very friendly and had a great personality, was joking with us around! Price is affordable, definitely recommended! Also open late!!!
